Whoever you are, wherever you're from, you are welcome here.
The Youth group at The Church in The Pines is a way for the youth to connect with one another.
We feel it is very important for middle schoolers and high-schoolers to grow in their identity in Christ by giving them an opportunity to dive into the bible and ask questions. There are alot of negative, worldly things that go on in the schools (and really everywhere) that our youth are subject to on a daily basis. We feel it is important that the Pines is a safe place for them to go, where they can visit with other students who may be questioning or struggling in life in similar ways. The Church in the Pines has the goal of teaching the youth who they are and WHOSE they are in Christ. Each of them have gifts that God has created them with. Gifts that they should never be ashamed of or afraid to use. We will lead them into growing in their confidence and understanding of those gifts, while also growing in the love of Christ. Nothing is more important than each youth leaving our time together understanding they are deeply loved by Christ. Once their foundation and identity is firmly established in His never-ending love, there is nothing they can’t do or overcome!
