Serving Christ together

Jay Jenson

Lead Pastor

Hello! My wife Rochelle and I have been incredibly blessed and happily married since 2006.  We have a beautiful blended family of 6 children.  (3 my biological, 3 Rochelle’s biological, (2 I’ve adopted, and 1 stepson)) and we have 6, soon to be 7 grandchildren.  As Lead Pastor, I feel so blessed, honored and privileged to be a part of this amazing body of believers. Please come see and be a part of all that the Lord is doing in and through this precious church.

Jeremy Lanctot

Executive Pastor

“Jeremy accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at age 10 and has been active in following Christ ever since. He has been married to his wife, Kelly, for over 30 years. Together, they are committed to their family and God’s ministry. As of year 2020, God has blessed them with 8 children and 6 grandchildren. They are blessed to have many of their children involved in ministry as well. God has given them a heart to rescue the spiritually perishing and dying; minister to the little and the least, the widow and the orphan and with God’s struggling church inside prison walls. They love participating in the work God is doing!!!”

Pastor Jay's wife /Media & Technology

I am truly honored and blessed to be serving the Lord with my husband Jay. We have been married since 2006 and fall more in love everyday. Between the two of us we have 6 children and 7 grandchildren.  Jesus rescued me 2006 from a very dark life of  20+ years of addiction and transferred me into His Kingdom of light. My passion is to help others understand their true identity in a life with Christ, understanding our authority in His death and resurrection and living from a place of victory and confidence! He has given us everything we need to have a fulfilling life full of peace and joy regardless of our circumstances and it is nothing short of AMAZING!!

Jasmine Vandertuin

Hi! My name is Jasmine, I am the worship leader and youth leader here at The Church in the Pines. My goal in everything I do for the church is to spread the love and joy of Christ, building others up through the hope God has given us.
I love spending time with people, especially getting coffee with people because it combines 2 of my favorite things: Talking and coffee! I love being able to spread Christ’s love by encouraging others and bringing them hope. Sometimes I get to do that through music, other times I get to do that by sharing my testimonies. All of the time, I get to shine light on Jesus and how good of a Father He truly is. Fun Fact: I am getting married this spring (2020)! The Lord brought an amazing man into my life, and I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with him.
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”  ~ Matthew 5:14-16

Women's Ministry

I have been a true lover of Christ for over 20 years.  I choose to live my life with a passion with the goal to simply point people to Jesus.  Through God's word, prayer and I believe that life is better when we get to do it together,  I challenge others to become all God has created them to be.
